Virus – Pop-ups
Many of these pop-ups are malicious browser extensions that populate virus alerts. They are intended to deceive users into downloading harmful software or providing sensitive personal data.
This often occurs after a user clicks "allow" on a browser pop-up message that might be disguised as a cookie notification or similar prompt. By granting these permissions the users allow malicious sites to send intrusive notifications that mimic system alerts.
