Apply Updates from Software Center

Indiana Tech’s IT Services team distributes Windows 10 updates and some software through the Software Center. Follow the steps below to apply any pending updates:

How to Check for and Apply Updates


1. Press the Windows key on the keyboard and type "Software Center".


2. Click on the Software Center app when it appears in the search results.

3. In the Software Center window, click Updates on the left side.

4. If any updates are listed, they can be installed manually by clicking Install All or selecting them individually.


Note: Some updates may be optional, but others may be required and will install automatically by their assigned deadline.
